The Family Gateway Families and Cancer programme in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support offers a range of practical and emotional support service for families affected by cancer in South East Northumberland

The programme can give 1:1 tailored support to tackle the things related to family cancer diagnosis that matter most to you and your family and can work with you to agree a plan to resolve all of the things that are troubling you - they don't judge, they support, empathise and challenge.  Support can include: understanding your cancer and your treatment, looking after your home and your family, getting to appointments, getting kids to school, dealing with money and employment matters, whatever you need help with.  You will be supported to feel more in control of the physical and mental health and well-being of your whole family by taking small steps to improve things, working in partnership with you with you as the expert.

Support is offered for as long as you need it and until you are empowered to take control.  Find out more about the programme and view the privacy policy on the website:
